What's your take on schooling?
I'm really debating upon just getting thru school as fast as possible to get a job & real experience VS. really taking my time to really learn the stuff from my classes & enjoy the process & experience.
This'll obviously impact how many classes I decide to take each semester, etc. So what's your take on schooling? Get it over with & move on? Or enjoy & savor it while you can?

well, with my expected graduation date of june 2013 i'm sure you know my take on it, but i am working full-time so it's a little easier to take things slow. although, "savor" isn't exactly the word i'd use to describe my glacial pace in accumulating units, haha.
i think you should stay in school longer. if you take the time and utilize the resources at hand, you can learn a lot. i say you stay in school... for at least... 4-5 more years.
i wish i was done with my schooling... and no, i'm not really "savoring" it either. heh...
get it over and move on!! thats' why i chose PA school over med school...and also i'm lazy, heh! work is less stress and much more moola; you can always go back to school, take add'n classes, etc if you miss it *that* much and want to savor and enjoy it longer...
the grass is always greener on the other side, so enjoy what you have now and learn what you can.
hrm, i wanted to get school over with ASAP since i was working at the same time, so the faster i finish the faster i'll have more free time!
but in your case, i think since you're working part-time (and getting some $$) you should enjoy schooling while you can! but ENJOY it! don't stress! you'll never be able to have as much vacation time as when you're in school (unless you're a teacher i guess!) and go on more vacations!
It depends. If finance is not an issue, take your time with school and enjoy it! Once you are out of school, all you have is work, work, work. However, if you need $, then get out as soon as you can or work part-time and study part-time. Also, note that what you learned now may change in a few years where you may still need to go back to school for more education and updates. So no matter what, you'll need to continue to learn to have the latest updates of your studies, theory, current happenings in mind. My two cents.
thanks for all the input. I wish I could enjoy it, but iono. I just can't. I just wanna be done and not have to study anymore. No more teachers! No more Books! No more...something something...dirty looks!
i think what you meant was "no more pencils, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks"
